B.) 20.08
C.) 22.09
D.) 21.08

Use the below formula to find the average weight of the class Average Weight = ( Total Weight of Class / Total Number of Students) Average Weight = ( 743/37) = 20.08

2.

Average of five consecutive even numbers is 35. Find the greatest number in these five numbers?

A.) 31
B.) 33

Use the below formula to find the Total, when Average and Total No. of Students is provided Total = Average * Total Students/People Total = Average * Total Number of Students) Average Weight = ( 49.5 x 55) = 2722.5

4.

Average of five consecutive odd numbers is 35. Find the greatest number in these five numbers?

A.) 31
B.) 33
C.) 39
D.) 37

Let the Consecutive odd numbers are x , x +2 , x + 4 , x+ 6, x+ 8.
Given , Average of fiveConsecutive odd numbers = 35
=> Average = (x + x + 2 + x + 4 + x + 6 + x + 8)/5 = 35
=> (5x + 20) / 5 = 35
=> 5x + 20 = 175
=> 5x = 175 - 20
=> 5x = 155
=> x = 31 ---> which is the first term of the given consecutive odd series.
The numbers are 31, 33, 35 and 37, 39
The greatest number is 39.
